Notes
-June 1775 at the age of sixteen he enlisted in the Massachusetts regiment and served throughout the Revolutionary War. Served in the seige of Boston, wounded in the battle of White Plains, New York. He was a part of the engagements of Long Island, Stillwater, Bemis Heights, Saratoga, and Monmouth, New Jersey. Also at surrender of Burgoyne, the execution of Andre, and suffered through the terrible winters at Valley Forge.
