Print, Photographic

One black and white Polaroid photograph of a section of the Grand Trunk Railroad car ferry dock in Detroit which is being repaired by the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company. The photo looks downstream and shows a mooring pile cluster in the foreground as well as the Detroit River. New pilings and cross timbers for a reconstructed seawall can be seen across the center of the photo. Railroad cars can be seen beyond the seawall and the Robin Hood Flour plant is visible in the far left background. Handwritten blue ink text on the upper and lower edges of the photo reads "G.T.W. R.R. Car Ferry Slip, Detroit, Feb. 14th, 1967, DC-3986."
