The photo shows a view along the main deck of the ship as seen from the stern. The unfinished deck shows the underlying structural steel members. Loose steel deck plates and equipment are visible in the foreground. Several workmen can be seen in the distance. The Saginaw River and a bridge are visible in the left background. Another ship is under construction in the center background. Handwritten text in the lower right corner reads "Saginaw Ship Bldg. Co., Yard No. 130 [131], E.F.C. [Emergency Fleet Corporation] No. 410, 4/25/18." Handwritten blue pencil text on the verso reads "Hull 131."
