One black and white photograph of the hydraulic (suction) dredge, ALABAMA, of the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company. The photo shows a port side view of the vessel which is at work on the Barkley Canal located between Kentucky Lake and Barkley Lake (in western Kentucky near Paducah). A floating discharge pipeline can be seen off the transom of the dredge. A green ink stamp on the verso reads "Photo By Jerry Creelman, 1511 Wm. H. Taft Rd., Cinti., Ohio, AV-8858." Handwritten black ink text reads "Alabama, July, 1966. Barkley Canal between Kentucky Lake (foreground) & Barkley Lake (background)."
