One black and white photograph of the hydraulic (suction) dredge, ALABAMA, of the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company. The photo shows a starboard side bow view of the vessel which is at work on the Barkley Canal located between Kentucky Lake and Barkley Lake (in western Kentucky near Paducah). The canal is visible in the foreground and a treed shoreline can be seen in the background. A floating discharge pipeline can be seen off the transom of the dredge and a crane barge can be seen in the left background. A green ink stamp on the verso reads "Photo By Jerry Creelman, 1511 Wm. H. Taft Rd., Cinti., Ohio, AV-8858."
