One black and white photograph showing the aftermath of a barge and bridge collision in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. The photo shows a view of the side of the crane barge, "CHEROKEE," of the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company which appears to have collided with a large bundle of protective timber pilings and part of the bridge foundation at one end of the Ahnapee and Western Railway swing bridge. The Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal is visible in the foreground along with the bent pilings, bridge foundation and end, and the barge. A small workboat, "CAPT. GEORGE," is resting on its side on the barge deck. The Michigan Street Bridge, Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal, and shoreline are visible in the background. A black ink stamp on the verso reads "Harmann Studios, Artists in Photography, 222 Steele St., Algoma, Wis. - 11 N. Third Ave., Sturgeon Bay, Wis."
