One black and white photograph of a group of nine female retirees (known as the "Bell Girls") who had all worked in the accounting department at Michigan Bell Telephone Company in Detroit. The middle-aged and older women are all standing or seated in the living room in the home of Margaret (Miller) Watson of Redford, Michigan. All are smartly dressed for a luncheon gathering. They are identified as follows (standing, left to right): Wilma (Pollari) Hoy, Terry (McDonald) Kapolnek, Kay (Russel) Newlands, Margaret (Miller) Watson, Ruth (Murto) Samotis, and (seated, left to right): Ieleen (Carlson) Pertler, Alice (Konsoski) Farin, Jennie (Lomnicki) Gardner, and Theresa (McArdle) McNeil. Their names are handwritten in black ink on the verso.
