Caption on verso reads, "This photograph shows a close-up of the back of the three spindle turning machine. Note the end of the little grinding wheel on #2 spindle; this wheel grinds the trough in the turbine bucket. Note construction of carriage and rollers that run on guide rails. Note indexing plate for various positions, vacuum connection to spindle. Note rugged construction of all parts to kill vibration. This machine is free from vibration and chatter. Total weight of machine - 4000 pounds, approximately."
