Sepia-toned photograph of the interior of the offices of the Merchants Credit Bureau, located within the Merchants Building on the east corner of Grand River Avenue and Broadway Avenue. The camera was positioned looking over a bank of file cabinets at people working at tables and desks. The workers include a group of switchboard operators, phone operators with headsets, and typists. "66320," is printed in the lower right corner, and "Merchants Credit Bureau," is handwritten in blue vertically in the upper right. The verso contains a lengthy typewritten list of employees, complete with listings of deaths, married names, and other handwritten updates, with December 27, 1977 being the most recent date.
