Sepia-toned photo of the ruined hull of the passenger steamship, SS Hamonic, tied up near shore in Point Edward, Ontario. The vessel caught fire while docked at Point Edward on July 17, 1945, and was a total loss. The Hamonic was part of the Northern Navigation Division of Canada Steamship Lines. A small section of the Blue Water Bridge can be seen near the bow of the ship on the far right side of the photo. The ship was later towed to a scrap yard in Hamilton, Ontario.
