Columbia

One sepia-toned photograph of the passenger ferry, SS Columbia, being launched at the Detroit Dry Dock Company. The photo shows a starboard side bow view of the hull as it slides off the ways and creates a large splash of water along the starboard side. A dock and open water are visible in the foreground. A trestle and gantry crane are visible in the background area of the shipyard.
