Flight Deck Structure
One sepia copy of a drawing entitled "Aircraft Training Vessel, IX-64 (Ex. Seeandbee), Flight Deck Structure." The copy is printed on vellum paper and shows plan and profile views of the flight deck structure that is being added to the former sidewheel steamship, SS Seeandbee, of the Cleveland & Buffalo Transit Company. The title block in the lower right corner indicates that the drawing was prepared by the Bureau of Ships, Navy Department at scales of 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated March 25, 1942. The drawing is shown as "508930."
The SS Seeandbee was converted into the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Wolverine in 1942.
