75 Gallon Gas Tank
One drawing entitled, "75 Gallon Gas Tank," which was designed for the hydroplane, Miss America X. The pencil drawing on vellum paper shows side and end views of the metal tank which has an asymmetric vertical elliptical shape with tapered sides. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by "Wood Hydraulic Hoist & Body Company, Detroit, Michigan" at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated May 26, 1932. The plan number is shown as "M.A.-32-29."
