Propeller Shaft
One drawing entitled, "Propeller Shaft," which was designed for the hydroplane, Miss America X. The pencil drawing on vellum paper shows a cross-section view of the tapered end of a propeller shaft as well as the propeller, propeller nut, and strut. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by "Wood Hydraulic Hoist & Body Company, Detroit, Michigan" at full scale and is dated August 3, 1932. The plan number is shown as "MA-32."
