Arrangement of Wickets and Counterweight." The sheet shows plan, profile, and cross section views of the movable dam wickets. The movable dam was located at the upstream end of the St. Mary's Falls Canal and was used to drain the downstream end of the canal and the locks for maintenance work. The drawings and text are printed in black ink on slightly yellowed paper that has a black borderline. Small printed text at the lower right corner shows "N. Peters. Photo-Lithographer, Washington, D.C."
