Coaster
One drink coaster from a dining room of the Pickands Mather & Company steamship fleet. The coaster is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a thick, vertical outside edge and a small curve beneath with a short, flat base. The inside edge has a short curve that blends into a flat bottom. Two narrow black and brown stripes form large concentric circles on the bottom and the circular, black/brown "PM" company logo is stamped at the center along with brown text that reads "Canada." The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Walker China, Vitrified," and "Bedford, Ohio, 5-44."
