Dish, Relish

One relish dish from a dining room of the Pickands Mather & Company steamship fleet. The oval-shaped dish is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a 1-inch wide sloped rim, a rounded top edge, and a flat bottom. Narrow black/brown lines encircle the inside edge of the rim just above the bottom. At the center of one of the long sides of the dish, the rim is stamped with the circular, black/brown "PM" company logo and brown text that reads "Canada." The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Walker China, Vitrified," and "Bedford, Ohio, 6-44."
