Pitcher, Cream
One cream pitcher from a dining room of one of the steamships of the Algoma Central Railway fleet. The pitcher is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has an open top with a small spout, an inward-rounded top edge, and a plain curved handle with a flat thumb rest. The straight sides flare outward slightly to form a wide circular base. A narrow red stripe encircles the pitcher along the top edge. A red/white/black image of the "Algoma Central Railway" company flag is stamped on one of the sides beneath the red stripe. The underside is stamped with a small crown logo and black text that reads "Duraline Super Vitrified, Grindley Hotelware Co.," and "Made in England, 3-76."
