Teapot
One small teapot from a dining room of the Algoma Central Railway steamship fleet. The cylindrically-shaped pot is made of heavyweight white glazed china. It has a wide top with a tall curved spout, a circular removable depressed lid, and a rectangular handle with a flat thumb rest. The lid has a knob at the center, and a narrow red stripe encircles the top surface along the outer edge. A matching red stripe encircles the pot at the outside top edge except at the spout and handle. A red/white/blue image of the "Algoma Central Marine" company flag is stamped on one side of the pot below the stripe. The underside is stamped with a small portcullis grate logo and black text that reads "Steelite International, England."
