Plate, Dinner

One dinner plate from a passenger steamship dining room of the Georgian Bay Line. The plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china and has a flat, upturned rim with a thickened outer edge. A narrow red stripe is located along the outer edge of the rim and a very narrow green stripe is located along the inner edge. At a break in the green stripe, a small red drawing shows a ship's wheel, an anchor, two steamships, seagulls, and a company flag. Stamped green text on the underside of the plate reads "Buffalo China, U.S.A." and "67."
