One black and white photograph (and one copy) that shows a view of the rock face along the east side of the channel that was being cut through rock for the new freighter channel (Livingstone Channel) in the lower Detroit River. A solid rock face is visible along the bottom half of the image with piles of rock on the upper half. Handwritten text along the bottom of the photo reads "A fault line in the east wall. Livingstone Channel."
