Print. Mounted black and white photographic print depicting a northward view at night along Grand River Avenue at Sorrento Avenue, as indicated on verso. Six square objects have been set up at three different distances from the camera in the street, presumably to demonstrate light levels and shadows from the streetlights overhead. Two gas stations, Bill's Quality Market, and a moving company are in the background. Pedestrians stand along the sidewalk and in the median. Cars travel in the distance. Streetcar rails run through the center of the street. "Jan-12th 1937, 14583-4," printed at lower right. Verso also includes the typed details:
