Photograph. Sepia-toned photo of a man who is driving a horse-drawn wagon along a road (possibly Woodward Avenue beyond the city limits). The road consists of concrete pavement with sand/gravel shoulders. Farmhouses, tall trees, and farm fields can be seen on both sides of the road in the background. A line of utility poles can be seen in the right background. A typewritten note on the verso shows "Wayne Co., Mich., A 9 foot concrete road built in 1909."
