Knife Handle. Two-part wooden handle with beveled edges held together by three metal rivets; portion of rusty, broken blade remains within; some remains of a coating (perhaps paint or varnish) still visible; predominately stained orange from rust; recovered from wreck of the schooner ALVIN CLARK, which foundered in Lake Michigan in 1864.
