Cup, Coffee
One coffee cup from the dining room of the bulk carrier, SS ROGER BLOUGH, of the United States Steel Corporation. The cup is made of heavyweight white glazed china. It has a rounded top edge, curved sides, and a plain round handle with a narrow blue stripe on the outside. A narrow blue stripe encircles the cup on the outside top edge. The company logo, consisting of a blue circle with the letters, "USS," at the center, is stamped on the front side of the cup. The underside of the cup is stamped with black text that reads "Mayer China, Beaver Falls, PA, U.S.A." and "466." The saucer is stamped with black text on the underside that reads "Mayer China, Beaver Falls, PA, U.S.A.," and "465."
