Plate, Dessert
One dessert plate from a dining room of one of the steamships of the United States Steel Corporation fleet. The round plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim and a thickened outer edge. Narrow dark gray stripes encircle the rim along the outer and inner edges. The company logo, "US Steel," is stamped on one area of the rim between the stripes. The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Mayer China, Est. 1881."
