Plate, Dinner
One dinner plate from a dining room of the Pickands Mather & Company steamship fleet. The round plate is made of heavyweight white glazed china. It has a slightly-curved, upturned rim and a thickened outer edge. Narrow blue and red stripes encircle the plate along the inner edge of the rim. A red/white/blue image of the "PM Co." company flag is stamped on one area of the rim above the stripes. The underside is stamped with black text that reads "Walker China, Vitrified," and "Bedford, Ohio, 6-34."
