Black and white photograph (and 2 copies) of the exhumation of the casket of the first Governor of Michigan, Stevens T. Mason, in Capitol Park, Detroit, on June 2, 1955. Workman are lifting the casket out of the grave while other workmen and officials are standing in the background. The casket was reburied at a new location in Capitol Park on December 5, 1955.
