Bowl, Oatmeal
One oatmeal bowl from the tanker, New Haven Socony, of the Socony-Vacuum Oil Company. The round bowl is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a thickened top rim and rounded sides that curve to form a short circular base. Narrow blue stripes encircle the outside just below the thickened rim and at the circular base. On one side of the bowl, just beneath the blue stripe, the company logo is stamped. The logo shows blue and white company burgee with a red Pegasus at the center. The plate underside is stamped with black text that reads "Shenango China, New Castle, PA, U.S.A.," and "Rimrol Welroc, X18."
