Plate, Dinner
One dinner plate from the tanker, NEW HAVEN SOCONY, of the Socony-Vacuum Oil Company. The plate is made of heavyweight, white glazed china. It has a flat, upturned rim with a thickened outer edge. Narrow blue stripes are located at the outer and inner edges of the rim. On one area of the rim, between the stripes, the company logo is stamped. The logo shows a red Pegasus inside a blue circle. The plate underside is stamped with black text that reads "Shenango China, U.S.A., ©Interpace," and "A 0-30."
