Cup, Coffee
One coffee cup from the dining room of the tanker, TRAVERSE CITY SOCONY, of the Socony-Vacuum Oil Company. The cup is made of white glazed china. It has a rounded top edge, a plain round handle with a narrow blue stripe on the outside, and curved sides that form a rounded bottom with a circular base. Narrow blue stripes encircle the cup on the outside top edge and just above the circular base. The company logo, consisting of a red Pegasus image, is stamped on the front side of the cup. The underside of the cup is stamped with black text that reads "Shenango China, New Castle, PA, U.S.A." and "Rimrol, Welroc, X18."
