Necklace
One necklace made with folk art peach pit carvings in the shapes of small baskets. The necklace consists of a 21-inch long, decorative, silver-colored metal chain made of small circular links. The chain has an oval-shaped eye at one end and a circular spring clip at the other end. Along the middle section of the chain, small brass links have been used to attach 13 small, round, carved baskets. The center basket is the largest and the rest are smaller, but of approximately equal size. Each carving has a smooth surface and is of a medium brown color. It appears that the carvings have been minimally finished with a light oil or stain. Small stamped text on the circular clasp reads "Medium."
